Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales or related roles, with a minimum 4 to 5 years of experience and minimum 3 years’ experience in upwork, freelancing tools.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles, sales techniques and negotiation strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business development objectives and drive revenue
    growth.
  • Identify emerging market trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform strategic decision-making.
    Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and partnerships to support business growth
    targets.
  • Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other materials for client meetings and
    business pitches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize solutions and address client requirements
    effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the business development upwork team, setting clear goals and
    expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting teamwork,innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex
    information
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to use CRM software
